What is Esi Immunoflor Junior Dry and Productive Cough 150 ml

Esi Immunoflor Junior Cough is a medical device with a strong balsamic component, formulated to modulate cough without inhibiting it.

IMMUNILFLOR Cough Junior SYRUP in case of productive cough, it hydrates the airway mucosa and promotes the expulsion of mucus; in case of dry cough, it acts by calming irritation.

The mucoadhesive formulation, thanks to its high content of polysaccharides and honey, adheres to the irritated oral mucosa, acting as a protective barrier, shielding it from contact with external agents and promoting the healing of its micro-lesions. Indicated for children over 1 year of age, up to 12 years.

- Honey: enriches the product with natural substances beneficial to health; it also has a soothing action on coughs, which can aggravate symptoms of common colds.
- Lichen: a plant with various qualities: antitussive, antidiarrheal, anti-inflammatory, and antimicrobial. Iceland Lichen possesses marked antimicrobial properties, thanks to usnic acid. Iceland Lichen is used as an emollient for irritated mucous membranes and as an expectorant for coughs, preventing dryness and irritation of the oral cavity.
- Plantain: an expectorant for bronchial catarrh, it soothes sore throats and inflammation of the oral mucosa, and exerts an anti-inflammatory action (mucilaginous polysaccharides), which is particularly useful for tracheitis and gingivitis. Plantain is also used for its anti-allergic, anti-inflammatory, and antimicrobial properties.
- Eucalyptus: is known for its balsamic and antiseptic action and for its beneficial effects on the oral cavity and upper respiratory tract. Indicated for thinning and eliminating bronchial secretions.
- Propolis: Propolis is made up of numerous substances: plant resins, vitamins, amino acids, mineral salts, bioflavonoids, but above all galangin, a bioflavonoid with antibacterial activity. The antibacterial properties of Propolis are due to multiple mechanisms: it inhibits bacterial cell division; disrupts the cytoplasm and cell membrane of bacteria; causes bacteriolysis; and inhibits protein synthesis. Other actions of Propolis include: immunostimulant, anti-inflammatory, anesthetic, healing, and antifungal; these properties are particularly evident in the mucous membranes of the upper respiratory tract.

How to take Esi Immunoflor Junior Dry and Productive Cough

Our pharmacists recommend taking it as follows:

Children aged 1 to 3 years: 2.5 ml.

Children aged 3 to 6 years: 5 ml.

Children aged 6 to 12 years: 7.5 ml, to be repeated twice a day, or according to medical advice, up to a maximum of 4 times a day.

It is recommended to take the last dose before bedtime.

Wildflower honey, eucalyptus honey, dry extracts of Iceland lichen and plantain rich in polysaccharides, eucalyptus and propolis, demineralized water, fructose, sorbitol, malic acid, xanthan gum, carboxymethylcellulose, flavoring, steviol glycosides, potassium sorbate.
