What is Actinica Skin Lotion 80 ml

Actinica is a skin lotion that protects against both UVB rays and UVA rays. It contains broad-spectrum photostable filters and is water-resistant.

Actinica Lotion also has moisturizing properties to improve skin condition. The absence of perfume and conventional polyethylene glycol (PEG) emulsifiers ensures good tolerability of the fluid and, therefore, the possibility of using it even on the most sensitive skin.

How to apply Actinica Skin Lotion

Our pharmacists recommend applying a generous amount of Actinica Lotion every morning, all year round, to all skin areas exposed to the sun during the day.

Use Actinica before applying cosmetic products (allow Actinica Lotion to absorb into the skin for a few minutes). Repeat the application after prolonged contact with water or in case of heavy sweating. Avoid direct sun exposure and wear protective clothing. The skin surface area varies from person to person. Using a smaller amount of product can reduce the protective efficacy.

For optimal distribution of the product and a pleasant feeling on the skin, apply a first dose of the product to the face and repeat the application after 5–10

minutes. Note: do not let more than 10–15 minutes pass between the two applications. The indications regarding the quantity of product to be applied to the face, scalp,

etc., can be used as a reference to determine the dose required for other skin areas.

For the first use, it is necessary to press the dispenser several times to dispense the fluid; however, the first pumps do not provide the full dose. Press slowly to obtain the full dose.

Precautions for use

Side effects to any of the ingredients in Actinica Lotion cannot be excluded. If, after brief sun exposure, irritation, rash, or a reaction similar to a sunburn occurs,

this would indicate that the product is causing adverse effects. In such cases, treatment should be discontinued and it is recommended to consult a doctor. Avoid all contact with the eyes as Actinica Lotion could cause a burning sensation if it comes into direct

contact with the eyes. In such a case, rinse the eyes with plenty of water. It is also recommended to wear sunglasses with UV protection to protect the

eyes.

Use in combination with mosquito repellent products

If you use Actinica Lotion in combination with a mosquito repellent product, apply Actinica Lotion first. Wait about 20 minutes before applying the mosquito repellent product. In this case, be aware that the protection offered by Actinica Lotion may be reduced.

Warnings

The UV photoprotective filters contained in Actinica Lotion can stain clothing, plastics, and other materials, such as, for example, swimming pool liners.

It is therefore recommended not to apply Actinica Lotion immediately before dressing.
