Abamele from Sardinia Honey, Orange and Pollen Decoction 250 g

A honey derivative, specifically a decoction of honey, orange, and pollen. At the base of this product is sapa (saba, abba), a syrup obtained from a cooked sugary base, usually produced with honey and grape must.

It has a dark color with some pieces of orange peel inside, and a strong scent with a caramelized aroma.
Used in Sardinia in the preparation of numerous traditional desserts, it is also excellent with fresh cheeses, fresh ricotta, and spread on bread.
